Recirculating Closed Loop Cleaning

Recirculating cleaning utilizes two original parallel deslagging pipelines to form a loop, creating a circulation system with the cleaning pump station. A solution of a certain acidity is added, which circulates through the sludge water pipes for cleaning. As the acid washing decreases to a certain level, the solution is continuously replenished. For short-distance single sludge water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a recirculation loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out during shutdown and is complex, with high costs.

Pilot cleaning

During cleaning, it is imperative to avoid a loop formed by two ash pipes. Only a single ash pipe should be used for open-path cleaning. The method involves connecting one end of the ash pipe to the cleaning device, continuously preparing a certain concentration of cleaning solution in the fluid storage tank, and then injecting it into the ash pipe continuously or intermittently. This process requires adding cleaning equipment while the system is shutdown, which increases the cost.

Continuous Operation Cleaning

The process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acid solution while the ash pipeline is operating normally, without interruption. At the same time, a certain amount of ash pipeline running cleaning inhibitor and pipeline cleaning descaler is added, followed by open circuit cleaning. The primary function of the cleaning aids is to promote the reaction between the acid solution and ash deposits in a solution with a specific concentration and flow rate, while also increasing its solubility in water, reducing the occurrence of air blockages, and ensuring the quality of ash pipeline cleaning.

The procedure is as follows: Before cleaning, estimate the required acid amount based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate of the descaling agent and pipeline cleaning agent by considering the sludge water flow rate and acidity. During cleaning, take a sample at the front end of the sludge pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity, and strictly control the acidity by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stage of cleaning, take a sample at the end of the sludge pipe every 15 minutes to test the pH value. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning can be deemed complete.

2. High-pressure water cleaning machinery:
High-pressure water jet cleaning offers advantages such as high efficiency, low cost, non-damaging to workpieces, environmental friendliness, ease of operation, and safety.

The high-pressure water jet, with its immense energy and supersonic speed, is fully capable of destroying hard scale and blockages without causing any damage to the metal.

High-pressure water cleaning will not damage the substrate being cleaned, as the pressure is less than the tensile strength grade of the metal.

(2) Fast Cleaning Speed: Due to the combined action of jet washing, wedging, shearing, and abrasive cutting, scale can be quickly broken and removed, making the cleaning process several to ten times faster than traditional chemical methods, sandblasting, simple mechanical, and manual methods.

Additionally, parts cleaned with high-pressure water jetting do not require secondary cleaning; however, after chemical cleaning, the surface must be rinsed with clean water.

(3) No Environmental Pollution: As high-pressure water jet cleaning uses pure water as the medium, it does not generate a large amount of dust like sandblasting, grit-blasting, or simple mechanical cleaning, which can pollute the atmosphere and harm health. It also does not produce a large volume of waste liquid like some chemical cleaning methods, which can contaminate rivers, soil, and water quality. The water jet cleaning with pure water as the medium is odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic. Pipe Scale

(1) Classified by chemical composition, they include carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively.

(2) Categorized by physical properties, there are two types: a hard scale that firmly adheres to the pot shell and tube walls, and a loose sediment that is easy to detach.
Lime scale primarily forms due to the salts like calcium and magnesium in the boiler feed water precipitating and adhering to the metal surface upon heating. Lime scale has a very low thermal conductivity, approximately 2 to 5 times less than that of ordinary steel. When lime scale accumulates on the boiler's heating surface, it significantly worsens the heat transfer efficiency, affecting the boiler's performance; it can easily cause metal materials to burn out due to localized overheating, even leading to pipe explosion accidents; it also accelerates galvanic corrosion, causing pipeline lime scale corrosion, and speeding up the damage to the heating surface. Once lime scale forms, it should be promptly removed using mechanical or chemical methods.
