Recirculating Closed Loop Cleaning
Recirculating cleaning utilizes two existing parallel deslagging pipelines to form a loop, creating a circulating system with the cleaning pump station. It involves adding a solution of a certain acidity concentration, which circulates within the sludge water pipes for cleaning. As the acid cleaning reaches a certain level, acid is continuously replenished. For short-distance single sludge water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to create a recirculating loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out during shutdown and is complex and costly.

Open path cleaning
No two gray pipes can form a loop during cleaning; only a single gray pipe can be used for open-loop cleaning. The method involves connecting one end of the gray pipe to the cleaning unit, continuously preparing a certain concentration of cleaning solution in the liquid preparation tank, and then continuously or intermittently injecting it into the gray pipe. This process requires additional cleaning equipment during shutdown, which increases costs.

Continuous cleaning without downtime
The process involves continuously injecting a specific amount of acidic solution while simultaneously adding a certain quantity of slurry pipe operation cleaning inhibitor and pipeline descaler, performing an open-loop cleaning. The primary role of the cleaning aids is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and scale deposits at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also increasing its solubility in water, reducing the occurrence of airlock, and ensuring the quality of slurry pipe cleaning.
The operation method is: First, estimate the required acid amount based on the total scale in the pipeline before cleaning. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate of the descaling agent and pipeline stripping agent by considering the sludge water flow rate and acidity. During cleaning, take samples at the sampling point at the front of the sludge pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity and strictly control it by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stage of cleaning, test the pH value at the end of the sludge pipe every 15 minutes. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning can be deemed completed.

2. High-pressure water jet cleaning equipment
High-pressure water jet cleaning offers advantages such as high efficiency, low cost, non-damaging to workpieces, environmental-friendly, easy operation, and safety.
High-pressure water technology boasts the following advantages.
(1) Excellent Cleaning Quality: The high-pressure water jet cleaning for pipes and heat exchanger bores can completely remove scale and obstructions inside, revealing the metal substrate. The high-pressure water jet, with its immense energy and supersonic speed, can effectively break down hard scale and obstructions without causing any damage to the metal.
High-pressure water cleaning will not damage the base material due to the pressure being less than the metal's compressive strength grade.
(2) Fast Cleaning Speed: Due to the combined effects of jet washing, splitting, shearing, and grinding, scale can be quickly broken and removed, making the cleaning process several to ten times faster than traditional chemical methods, sandblasting, simple mechanical, and manual methods.

(3) Non-polluting to the Environment: As high-pressure water jet cleaning uses pure water as the medium, it does not produce large amounts of dust like sandblasting or simple mechanical cleaning, which can pollute the atmosphere and harm health. It also does not generate a large volume of waste liquid like some chemical cleaning methods, which can contaminate rivers, soil, and water quality. The water jet, being odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic, can further reduce dust concentration in the work area after atomization, lowering atmospheric dust levels from 80mg/m³ using other methods to below the national safety standards. Pipe Scale
(1) Classified by chemical composition, they include carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale. The primary components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; sulfate scale and silicate scale are mainly composed of calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively; mixed scale is usually a mixture of the above three types.
(2) Categorized by physical properties, there are two types: a hard scale that firmly adheres to the pot shell and pipe walls, and a loose sediment that is easy to dislodge.
Lime scale primarily forms due to the salts like calcium and magnesium in the boiler feed water, which precipitate and adhere to the metal surface upon heating. Lime scale has a very low thermal conductivity, about 2 to 5 times that of ordinary steel. When lime scale accumulates on the boiler's heating surface, it significantly worsens the heat transfer efficiency and affects the boiler's performance; it can easily cause metal materials to burn due to localized overheating, even leading to pipe explosion accidents; it also accelerates galvanic corrosion, causing pipeline lime scale corrosion and speeding up the damage to the heating surface. Once lime scale forms, it should be promptly removed using mechanical or chemical methods.
