Recirculating Closed Loop Cleaning
Recirculating cleaning utilizes two existing parallel deslagging pipelines to form a loop, creating a recirculation system with the cleaning pump station. A certain concentration of acidic solution is added, which circulates within the sludge water pipes for cleaning. As the acid washing reaches a certain level, the acidic solution is continuously replenished. For short-distance single sludge water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a recirculation loop for cleaning. This process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic solution while running the ash delivery pipes, simultaneously introducing an ash delivery pipeline cleaning inhibitor and a pipeline cleaning descaler. It performs an open-circuit cleaning. The primary role of the cleaning aids is to facilitate the reaction between the acidic solution and ash deposits at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also increasing solubility in water, reducing the formation of air blockages, and ensuring the quality of ash pipeline cleaning.
The procedure is as follows: Prior to cleaning, first estimate the required acid amount based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate of the ash removal agent and pipeline cleaner by considering the flow rate of the sludge water and the acidity. During cleaning, take a sample at the front end of the ash pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity, and strictly control the acidity by adjusting the flow rate of acid addition. In the later stages of cleaning, take a sample at the end of the ash pipe every 15 minutes to test the pH value. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning process can be considered complete.

Pipe Scale
(1) Classified by chemical composition, they can be categorized into carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale, etc. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively; mixed scale is usually a mixture of the above three types of scales.

(2) Categorized by physical properties, there are two types: a hard scale that firmly adheres to the pot shell and pipe walls, and a loose sediment that is easily detached.
Scale primarily forms due to the salts containing calcium and magnesium in the boiler feedwater, which precipitate and adhere to the metal surface upon heating.
