Recirculating Closed Loop Cleaning
Recirculating cleaning utilizes two original parallel ash piping lines to form a loop, creating a recirculation system with the cleaning pump station. A solution of a certain concentration of acidity is added, which circulates within the ash water pipeline for cleaning. Additionally, as the acid washing reaches a certain level, acid is continuously replenished. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a recirculation loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out during shutdown and is complex and costly.

Open road cleaning
No two ash pipes should form a loop during cleaning; only a single ash pipe should be used for open-circuit cleaning. The method involves connecting one end of the ash pipe to the cleaning unit, continuously preparing a certain concentration of cleaning solution in the dosing tank, and injecting it into the ash pipe continuously or intermittently. This process requires additional cleaning equipment during shutdown, resulting in higher costs.

Continuous operation cleaning
The process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic solution while the ash pipe is operating normally without interruption, simultaneously adding a specific quantity of ash-pipe running cleaning inhibitor and pipeline descaling agent. This is an open-circuit cleaning method. The primary function of the cleaning aids is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and the ash scale at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also increasing its solubility in water and reducing the formation of air blockages, ensuring the quality of ash pipe cleaning.
The procedure is as follows: Prior to cleaning, estimate the required acid quantity based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate of the sludge conveying pipeline for the addition of corrosion inhibitors and pipeline cleaner by considering the flow rate of the gray water and the acidity. During the cleaning process, take a sample at the sampling point at the front of the gray pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity and strictly control it by adjusting the flow rate of acid addition. In the later stage of cleaning, take a sample at the end of the gray pipe every 15 minutes to test the pH value. The cleaning can be deemed complete when the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes.

2. High-pressure water jet cleaning equipment
High-pressure water jet cleaning offers advantages such as high efficiency, low cost, non-damaging to workpieces, environmental friendliness, ease of operation, and safety.
High-pressure water technology boasts the following advantages.

3. Pipe Scale
(1) Classified by chemical composition, they can be categorized into carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively; mixed scale is often a mixture of the above three types of scales.
(2) Categorized by physical properties, there are two types: scale that is firmly adhered to the pot shell and pipe walls, and sediment that is loosely textured and easy to dislodge.
Lime scale primarily forms due to the salts like calcium and magnesium in the boiler feed water precipitating and adhering to the metal surface upon heating. Lime scale has a very low thermal conductivity, about 2 to 5 times that of ordinary steel. When lime scale accumulates on the boiler's heating surface, it severely deteriorates heat transfer efficiency, affecting the boiler's performance; it can easily cause metal materials to burn due to localized overheating, potentially leading to pipe explosion accidents; it also accelerates galvanic corrosion, causing pipeline lime scale corrosion, and speeding up the damage to the heating surface. Once lime scale forms, it should be promptly removed using mechanical or chemical methods.
