Chemical cleaning and scaling removal process:
Recirculating Closed Loop Cleaning
Recirculating cleaning utilizes two existing parallel ash line pipelines to form a loop, creating a circulating system with the cleaning pump station. A certain concentration of acidic solution is added, which circulates through the ash water pipeline for cleaning. As the acid washing decreases to a certain level, the acidic solution is continuously replenished. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a circulating loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out during shutdown, and it is complex and costly.
Pilot cleaning
No two ash pipes should form a loop during cleaning; only a single ash pipe should be used for open-circuit cleaning. The method involves connecting one end of the ash pipe to the cleaning unit, continuously preparing a certain concentration of cleaning solution in the solution tank, and then continuously or intermittently injecting it into the ash pipe. This process requires adding cleaning equipment during shutdown, which increases costs.

Continuous operation cleaning
The process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acid solution while the ash pipe is operating normally without interruption. Simultaneously, a specific quantity of ash pipe operation cleaning inhibitor and pipeline descaler is added for cleaning. This is an open-loop cleaning method. The primary role of the cleaning additive is to promote the reaction between the acid solution and the ash scale at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also increasing its solubility in water and reducing the formation of air blockages, ensuring the quality of ash pipe cleaning.
Operation procedure: Before cleaning, first estimate the required acid amount based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate for adding sludge pipeline cleaning inhibitor and pipeline descaler according to the flow rate of grey water and acidity. During cleaning, take a sample at the sampling point at the front of the grey pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity, and strictly control the acidity by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stage of cleaning, take a sample at the end of the grey pipe every 15 minutes to test the pH value. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning can be considered complete.

2. High-pressure water jet cleaning machinery
High-pressure water jet cleaning offers advantages such as high efficiency, low cost, non-damaging to workpieces, environmental protection, ease of operation, and safety.

(2) Fast Cleaning Speed: Due to the combined action of jet washing, wedging, shearing, and grinding, scale can be quickly broken and removed, making the cleaning process several to ten times faster than traditional chemical methods, sandblasting, simple mechanical, and manual methods.

(3) No Environmental Pollution: Since high-pressure water jet cleaning uses pure water as the medium, it does not generate a large amount of dust like sandblasting, shot blasting, or simple mechanical cleaning, which can pollute the atmosphere and harm health. It also does not produce a large volume of waste liquid like some chemical cleaning methods, which can contaminate rivers, soil, and water quality. The water jet cleaning with pure water as the medium is odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic. Pipe Scale
(1) Categorized by chemical composition, they include carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the primary components of sulfate and silicate scales are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively. Mixed scale is typically a combination of the above three types.
(2) Categorized by physical properties, there are two types: a hard scale that firmly adheres to the pot shell and tube walls, and a loose sediment that is easily detached.
Lime scale primarily forms due to the salts of calcium, magnesium, and other minerals in the boiler feed water, which precipitate and adhere to the metal surface upon heating. Lime scale has a very low thermal conductivity, approximately 2-5 times that of ordinary steel. When lime scale accumulates on the boiler's heating surface, it significantly deteriorates the heat transfer efficiency, affecting the boiler's performance; it also tends to damage metal materials by localized overheating, potentially leading to pipe explosion accidents; it accelerates galvanic corrosion, causing pipeline lime scale corrosion, and speeding up the deterioration of the heating surface. Once lime scale forms, it should be promptly removed using mechanical or chemical methods.
