Recirculating closed-loop cleaning

Recirculating cleaning utilizes two existing parallel ash discharge pipelines to form a loop, creating a circulation system with the cleaning pump station. A certain concentration of acidic solution is added, which circulates within the ash water pipeline for cleaning. As the acid cleaning decreases to a certain level, the acidic solution is continuously replenished. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a recirculation loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out during shutdown and is complex, with higher costs.

Preliminary Cleaning

No two ash pipes should form a loop during cleaning; only single-pipe open circuit cleaning is allowed. The method involves connecting one end of the ash pipe to the cleaning unit, continuously preparing a certain concentration of cleaning solution in the mixing tank, and then injecting it into the ash pipe continuously or intermittently. This process requires additional cleaning equipment during shutdown, which increases costs.

Continuous cleaning without shutdown

The process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic solution while the ash pipe is operating normally and not shut down. Simultaneously, a specific quantity of ash pipe operation cleaning inhibitor and pipeline descaling agent is added for open-loop cleaning. The primary function of the cleaning aid is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and the ash scale at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also increasing its solubility in water and reducing the formation of air blockages, ensuring the quality of ash pipe cleaning.

The procedure is as follows: Prior to cleaning, estimate the required acid quantity based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate of the descaling agent and pipeline cleaning agent according to the sludge water flow and acidity. During cleaning, take a sample at the front of the sludge pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity and strictly control it by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stage of cleaning, take a sample at the end of the sludge pipe every 15 minutes to test the pH value. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning can be deemed complete.

2. High-pressure water cleaning machinery

It also does not produce a large amount of waste liquid like some chemical cleaning methods, which can contaminate rivers, soil, and water quality. Pipe Scale

(1) Classified by chemical composition, they include carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively; mixed scale is usually a mixture of the above three types.

(2) Categorized by physical properties, there are two types: a hard scale that firmly adheres to the pot shell and pipe walls, and a loose sediment that is easy to dislodge.
Lime scale primarily forms due to the salts like calcium and magnesium present in the boiler feed water, which precipitate and adhere to the metal surface upon heating. Lime scale has a very low thermal conductivity, approximately 2 to 5 times that of ordinary steel.
