Chemical cleaning descaling process:
Recirculating closed-loop cleaning
Recirculation cleaning utilizes two original parallel ash piping lines to form a loop, creating a circulating system with the cleaning pump station. It introduces a solution of a certain acidity concentration, which circulates and cleans within the ash water pipes. As the acid cleaning reaches a certain level, the solution is continuously replenished. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to create a circulating loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out while the system is shut down, and it is complex and costly.
Pilot cleaning
No two grey pipes can form a loop during cleaning; only a single grey pipe can be used for open-loop cleaning. The method involves connecting one end of the grey pipe to the cleaning unit, continuously preparing a certain concentration of cleaning solution in the blending tank, and then continuously or intermittently injecting it into the grey pipe. This process requires adding cleaning equipment during shutdown, which increases the cost.
Continuous cleaning without shutdown
This process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic solution while simultaneously introducing a specific quantity of ash-pipe cleaning inhibitor and pipeline descaler into the running ash delivery pipes for open-loop cleaning. The primary function of the cleaning aids is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and ash deposits at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also increasing its solubility in water, reducing the formation of gas blockages, and ensuring the quality of ash-pipe cleaning.
Operation method: Before cleaning, first estimate the required acid amount based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate of the descaling agent and pipeline cleaning agent by considering the sludge water flow rate and acidity. During cleaning, take samples at the front sampling point of the sludge pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity and strictly control it by adjusting the acid flow rate. In the later stage of cleaning, test the pH value at the end of the sludge pipe every 15 minutes. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning can be deemed complete.

2. High-pressure water jet cleaning equipment

(2) Fast Cleaning Speed: Due to the combined action of jet washing, wedge splitting, shearing, and grinding, scale can be quickly broken and removed, making the cleaning process several to ten times faster than traditional chemical methods, sandblasting, simple mechanical, and manual methods.

Pipe Scale
(1) Classified by chemical composition, it can be categorized into carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale, etc. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively; mixed scale is mostly a mixture of the above three types of scales.

(2) Categorized by physical properties, there are two types: scale that is firmly adhered to the pot shell and pipe walls, and sediment that is loosely textured and easily detached.
Lime scale primarily forms due to the salts like calcium and magnesium in the boiler feed water precipitating and adhering to the metal surface upon heating. Lime scale has a very low thermal conductivity, approximately 2 to 5 times that of ordinary steel. When lime scale accumulates on the boiler's heating surface, it significantly worsens the heat transfer efficiency and affects the boiler's performance; it can easily lead to the metal material being damaged by localized overheating, even causing pipe explosion accidents; it also accelerates galvanic corrosion, leading to pipeline lime scale corrosion and speeding up the deterioration of the heating surface. Once lime scale forms, it should be promptly removed using mechanical or chemical methods.
