Chemical cleaning scale removal process:
Recirculating Closed Circuit Cleaning
Recirculating cleaning utilizes two existing parallel ash piping lines to form a loop, creating a recirculation system with the cleaning pump station. A certain concentration of acidic solution is added, which circulates within the ash water pipes for cleaning. As the acid washing decreases to a certain level, the solution is continuously replenished with more acid. For short-distance single ash water pipes, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to create a recirculation loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out while the system is shut down, and it is complex and costly.
Open road cleaning
No two gray pipes should form a loop during cleaning; only single-pipe open circuit cleaning is allowed. The method involves connecting one end of the gray pipe to the cleaning unit, continuously preparing a certain concentration of cleaning solution in the mixture tank, and injecting it into the gray pipe continuously or intermittently. This process requires adding cleaning equipment while the system is offline, which increases costs.

Continuous Cleaning
The process involves continuously injecting a certain amount of acidic solution while running the ash conveying pipeline, simultaneously introducing a specific quantity of ash conveying pipeline running cleaning inhibitor and pipeline cleaning descaler for open circuit cleaning. The primary function of the cleaning aid is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and the ash deposits at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also increasing its solubility in water and reducing the formation of airlock, ensuring the quality of ash pipe cleaning.
The procedure is: Before cleaning, first estimate the required acid amount based on the total scale in the pipes, then calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate of the ash slurry pipe based on the flow rate and acidity of the grey water. During cleaning, collect a sample at the front end of the ash pipe every 30 minutes to test the acidity and strictly control the acidity by adjusting the flow rate of acid addition. In the later stage of cleaning, take a sample at the end of the ash pipe every 15 minutes to test the pH value. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning can be deemed complete.
2. High-pressure water jet cleaning equipment

(3) No Environmental Pollution: As high-pressure water jet cleaning uses pure water as the medium, it does not produce a large amount of dust like sandblasting or simple mechanical cleaning, which can pollute the atmosphere and harm health. It also does not generate a significant amount of waste liquid like some chemical cleaning methods, which can contaminate rivers, soil, and water quality. 3. Pipe Scale
(1) Classified by chemical composition, they can be categorized into carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale, etc. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively.
(2) Classified by physical properties, there are two types: water scale that firmly adheres to the pot shell and pipe wall, and sludge that is loose and easily detachable.
Lime scale primarily forms due to the salts, such as calcium and magnesium, present in the boiler feed water, which precipitate and adhere to the metal surface upon heating. Lime scale has a very low thermal conductivity, about 2-5 times that of ordinary steel. When lime scale accumulates on the boiler's heat-absorbing surface, it significantly worsens the heat transfer efficiency and affects the boiler's performance; it also tends to cause metal materials to burn due to localized overheating, potentially leading to pipe bursting accidents; it accelerates galvanic corrosion, causing pipeline lime scale corrosion, and speeding up the deterioration of the heat-absorbing surfaces. Once lime scale forms, it should be promptly removed using mechanical or chemical methods.
