Ethylene diamine tetra(methylene)PhosphorusSodium EDTMP, also known as sodium hexamethylenetetramine phosphate, is an organic raw material with the molecular formula C6H12O12N2P4Na8 and a molecular weight of 612.13. EDTMPS is a nitrogen-containing organic polyphosphate.PhosphorusAcidic, a cathodic corrosion inhibitor, its corrosion inhibition rate is 3-5 times higher than that of inorganic polyphosphates. It is soluble in water, non-toxic, non-polluting, with good chemical stability and heat resistance, maintaining effective scale inhibition at 200°C. EDTMPS can dissociate into eight cations and anions in aqueous solution, thus forming a macromolecular network complex with multiple monomers by chelating multiple metal ions, loosely dispersed in water, which disrupts the normal crystallization of calcium scale. EDTMPS has excellent scale inhibition properties for calcium sulfate and barium sulfate. EDTMPS is used as a corrosion and scale inhibitor in circulating water and boiler water, as a chelating agent in cyanide-free electroplating, and as a chelating agent in textile dyeing and printing.
