Application Range & Usage PAA is commonly used in formulations with other water treatment agents, serving as a scale and sediment dispersant in circulating cooling water systems of power plants, chemical factories, fertilizer plants, oil refineries, and air conditioning systems. When used alone, PAA is typically applied at a concentration of 1-15 mg/L; PAA is a commonly used dispersant, widely applied in papermaking, textile, dyeing, ceramics, coatings, and other industries. 4.
