Recently, in a mixer retrofit project for a Shandong Binzhou fine chemical factory, Zibo Huanjin Chemical Machinery Co., Ltd. successfully replaced the original open turbine mixer with a J320B high-efficiency wide-blade axial flow mixer, achieving significant energy-saving and cost-reduction effects.
The case is as follows: The customer's mixer has a diameter of 7.5 meters and a height of 10 meters. The material being mixed is lime slurry emulsion with a solid content of 20%-25%. The original mixer used two narrow paddle blades for turbine mixing at a speed of 35 rotations per minute, powered by a 45kw motor, with operating current consistently over 80A, even exceeding the current limits, and the original reducer had been repaired multiple times. After taking over the project, our technical team carefully designed the following modification plan: replacing the mixer with a two-layer wide-blade axial flow J320B type mixer, slightly increasing the diameter, replacing the reducer with a gear reducer, adjusting the speed to 33 rotations per minute, and reusing the motor. With the customer's trust and support, the modification plan was successfully implemented. Post-modification, the measured operating current of the equipment is 48A, and even with increased material volume, it does not exceed 52A. This means that the current motor configuration can be reduced from the original 45Kw to at least 37Kw, with ample safety margin (>30%). Calculating the energy-saving effect at 35%, the operational energy consumption has been reduced by at least 30%, significantly saving on equipment operating costs. Furthermore, according to the customer's feedback, the mixing effect of the material is even better than that achieved with the original turbine mixer.
This real-life case fully demonstrates the energy-saving capabilities of the axial flow mixer J320B. Briefly, the shape characteristics of this axial flow mixer are as follows. The design philosophy of this mixer draws inspiration from the features of previous axial flow mixer blades internationally, including the A310 blades from the U.S. and certain features of German mixers. It employs wider blades with a segmented, arc-shaped transition structure. Using precise molds, the three wide blades are pressed into a specific arc-shaped streamline shape, ensuring consistency among the blades and avoiding imbalance. From a hydrodynamic perspective, these streamlined blades, while ensuring the material is propelled and rotated, significantly reduce the物流 resistance encountered during rotation, thereby achieving both effective material mixing and energy savings. Whether it's for liquid material mixing, solid-liquid slurry mixing, or suspension, it achieves ideal mixing results.
The current global resources and social environment demand increasingly stringent environmental protection measures, and energy conservation and consumption reduction are urgent. We anticipate that the Zibo Huajin J320B energy-saving axial flow mixer will see wider application and contribute even more to social environmental protection.
