1Promotion of Carbon Materials and Technologies
(1) Coal-based needle coke production technology (increased unit capacity); (2) Microporous carbon block and semi-graphite carbon brick production technology; (3) Carbon intermediate phase preparation technology (100t/a advanced power source anode material); (4) High-performance electrode production technology (stable joint quality); (5) High-temperature gas-cooled reactor-specific carbon and graphite materials; (6) High-strength, high-density (fine structure) carbon material production technology; (7) Pyrolytic carbon preparation and application technology.
2Carbon Materials and Technology Research
Ultra-high power graphite electrode production technology (φ500, 600, 700mm); including high-quality needle coke preparation technology, high-quality asphalt impregnating and binder preparation technology, development and production of internal series graphitization process and equipment, and integration of production technology.
(2) Ultra-micro-pore carbon brick production technology, equipment technology;
Polyacrylonitrile-based carbon fiber production technology
(4) Inclusive of evaluations on the adaptability of raw fibers and carbonized-grade fibers, preparation technologies for high-strength medium-modulus fibers (σb≥5GPa, E≥250GPa), and preparation technologies for graphite fibers (σb≥2.5GPa, E≥400GPa).
(5) Carbonaceous mesophase production technology (>500t/a); including advanced battery-specific electrode material production technology (capacity ≥ 350mAh/g, capacity > 300t/a), self-coking carbonaceous mesophase production technology (volume density of isotropic carbon materials ≥ 1.86g/cm³, capacity > 200t/a), and production technology integration.
(6) Full-carbon artificial heart valve production technology; including ultra-low temperature deposition technology and processing assembly technology.
(7) Low-cost mesophase pitch carbon fiber production technology; including low-cost spinnable mesophase pitch production and melt spinning technology.
(8) Large-sized, high-strength, high-density (fine-structured) carbon material production technology; including main equipment integration and process stability.
3Carbon Materials: Cutting-Edge Materials and Technologies
(1) Carbon alloy (functional, structural material) preparation technology; including aircraft braking carbon – carbon alloy, carbon – ceramic system anti-oxidation and anti-radiation materials, special application carbon – metal system anti-fatigue materials and electrical contact materials.
