Diesel pump sets with different horsepower ratings require fuel tanks of varying capacities. The configuration requirements for the fuel tanks are based on the standard corresponding to flow rate and head. For instance, if the diesel pump you need has a head of 70 meters and a flow rate of 30 cubic meters, it will require a fuel tank of 3 liters or more. If a higher flow rate or head is required, such as 100 cubic meters per hour with a head of 95 meters, a fuel tank of 5 liters or more is needed. For continuous, uninterrupted operation of the diesel pump, a custom large fuel tank is recommended. There are distinctions between large and small fuel tanks.
Regularly check the oil level and adjust as necessary to meet specifications. The oil level should be at the center of the oil mark. Frequently inspect the oil condition and replace it promptly if it becomes contaminated to ensure the normal operation of the diesel engine water pump. The oil change interval should be determined based on actual usage conditions and the ability to meet performance requirements, at the discretion of the user. It is recommended to change the oil after approximately 200 hours of operation to remove clean, dry air, maintaining the freshness of the oil. Once black metal particles are no longer visible in the oil, the oil change interval can be extended appropriately, which is quite easy to do. Generally, it is advisable to inspect and clean the water droplets settled on the valve blades and exhaust valve seats after the diesel engine water pump has been in use for 3,000 hours for safety purposes.
