Three Methods of Painting Treatment for Membrane Structure Steel Members/Steel Structures
Painting during construction can often be a headache, as it rarely achieves the satisfactory results everyone desires. Therefore, I have compiled several painting techniques.
Three complementary packages:
One: Suitable for anti-corrosion requirements of 10-20 years
Primer: Epoxy zinc-rich primer, packaged as (25 kg paint + 2.5 kg hardener) in the Lunan brand paint, in a ratio of 10:1. Coverage rate: 2-3 sqm/kg, one coat.
Epoxy Iron Oxide Anti-Rust Paint: packaged with 22 kg of paint + 3 kg of hardener, coverage rate: 2-3 sqm/kg, one coat.
Latex Paint: Chlorinated rubber latex paint, packaged in 20 kg drums, coverage rate: 4-5 sqm/kg, one coat.
This kit offers a low cost with excellent corrosion resistance.
Approximately 20 years of corrosion resistance requirements
Epoxy Zinc-rich Primer: The packaging for Lunnan brand paint is (25 kg of paint + 2.5 kg of hardener) in a 10:1 ratio. The application rate is 2-3 square meters per kilogram, one coat.
Epoxy Iron Oxide Anti-Rust Paint: Packaged with 22 kg of paint + 3 kg of hardener, coverage rate is 2-3 sqm/kg, one coat.
Fatigue Resistant Polyurethane Topcoat: Packaged with 18 kg of paint + 2.2 kg of hardener; Coverage: 4-5 sqm/kg, one coat.
This kit offers moderate cost and excellent anti-corrosion performance.
Three: Suitable for corrosion protection requirements exceeding 20 years
Epoxy Zinc-rich Primer: The packaging for the Lunnan brand paint is (25 kg of paint + 2.5 kg of hardener) in a 10:1 ratio. The spreading rate is 2-3 square meters per kilogram, one coat.
Epoxy Iron Oxide Antirust Paint: The package includes 22 kg of paint + 3 kg of hardener, with a coverage rate of 2-3 sqm/kg, one coat.
Fluorocarbon Paint: The packaging includes 20 kg of paint + 4 kg of hardener. Coverage rate is 4-5 sqm/kg, one coat.
This type of matching kit incurs higher costs, offering excellent anti-corrosion effectiveness.
