Pre-tensioned tension clamp is a metal fitting that secures conductors or optical fibers to a tower, bearing the tension of the conductors or fibers. It achieves the fixation by generating gripping force through the winding of pre-tensioned strands. Structure: Different types of pre-tensioned tension clamps have varying structures, but generally include the following parts: - Single-layer tension pre-tensioned strand: Usually made of aluminum-clad steel wire, it serves to hold the conductors or fibers tightly. - Heart-shaped ring: Typically made of hot-dipped galvanized precision cast steel, used for connecting other components. - Right-angle ring and U-shaped hanger: Usually hot-dipped galvanized cast steel or hot-dipped galvanized steel U-shaped hanger, used to connect with the tower fasteners, with certain breaking loads, such as the common ZH-4 and U-4 breaking loads of 40kN. Application Range: - Power conductors: Suitable for overhead conductors, such as common transmission lines. - Optical fibers: Can be used with ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) optical fibers, OPGW (Optical Fiber Composite Overhead Ground Wire) optical fibers, OPPC (Optical Fiber Composite Phase Wire) optical fibers, etc. For ADSS optical fibers with spans ≤200m, the small tension clamp configurations vary depending on the type of tower, such as 1 set per terminal tower, 2 sets per tower for tension, turning, and splicing towers; recommended for spans of 0-100m when used with small span ADSS fibers, with a tension of 7kN and a tensile strength of 10kN. Function: - Reduce stress: Can reduce the static stress of conductors or fibers at the suspension point, improve their anti-vibration capability, and suppress dynamic stress caused by wind vibration. - Protect cables: Ensures the bend of conductors or fibers does not exceed the allowable values, avoiding bending stress and preventing additional loss in the fibers within the cable. Installation Steps: 1. Marking: First, align the installation marking of the outer twist strand with the marking on the optical fiber for installation. 2. Wrapping inner twist strands: Align the installation marking of the inner twist strand end with the optical fiber and wrap it around the ADSS optical fiber. Repeat this process for the other groups of inner strands until all inner twists are installed.
