The planning and construction of windbreak dust suppression nets mainly consist of four parts:
(1) Windbreak and Dust Suppression Net Foundation: Constructed from precast concrete blocks or cast-in-place underground foundations.
The Wind-Resistant and Dust-Control Mesh Support Structure: The engineering planning is based on wind velocity parameters. Steel frame supports are used, primarily to provide the "wind-resistant and dust-control wall" with sufficient strength to withstand damage from strong winds, and also to consider the overall aesthetics. The main support structure is made of hot-dipped galvanized steel pipes, with reinforced concrete pillars used as the supports for the "wind-resistant and dust-control wall."
(3) Windbreak and Dust Suppression Net: Service life of 15 to 20 years. Operating temperature range: -40℃ to +80℃, connected with screws and plates for fixation. The detailed dimensions, bend angles, and hole rates of the windbreak and dust suppression plates should be planned according to the actual conditions of the yard.
(4) Retaining Wall: To prevent the overflow of coal slurry water after rain or snow, a retaining wall can be set up at the bottom with a height of 1.2 to 1.5 meters.
