3PE Coated Spiral Steel PipeThis refers to a 3-layer polyolefin coated (MAPEC) anti-corrosion steel pipe, which is a commonly used type of anti-corrosion pipeline in China. The 3PE anti-corrosion spiral steel pipe structure consists of: first, an epoxy powder (FBE) layer over 100um, second, an adhesive (AD) layer of 170 to 250um, and third, a polyethylene (PE) layer of 2.5 to 3.7mm. These three materials are integrated into one and firmly bonded to the steel pipe to form an excellent anti-corrosion layer. The pipe diameter range is Φ50 to Φ1420. The production process is as follows: the bare pipe undergoes a shot blasting process after medium-frequency heating to remove rust, followed by rust inspection and another heating step. At a certain temperature, the spraying operation is carried out, starting with powder spraying, then adhesive spraying, and finally polyethylene spraying. A strict leak inspection is conducted during spraying.
