Plastic ShredderBearingsHow to Handle a MalfunctionMaintenance, Bearings inPlastic ShredderNo Chinese content provided.Spinning AxisPlease provide the Chinese content to be translated.BodyAxial box relative motion positions, the main components that bear and guide, can overheat during installation and machining due to precision fit issues or when carrying heavy loads and wearing. Improper handling can directly affect motor load and reduce work efficiency. In severe cases, it can increase the eccentricity of the spindle rotation, impacting the positioning of the moving blade and the fixed blade, thereby affecting the discharge effect of the crushed material. Xiao Zhou from Guangzhou Jiaying Machinery tells you the solution:
(1) During routine maintenance, strictly adhere to the guidelines of Jiaying.

LubricationMaintenance Prevention Addition
LubricantQuantity and quality issues can affect the machinery. Generally, the amount of lubricant added should be based on the size of the bearing space, ideally occupying 70%-80% of it. This prevents the occurrence of overfilling, which increases roller resistance, and underfilling, which fails to provide adequate lubrication.
(2) To determine if the two shaft boxes are concentric, check if the shaft ends are at the same level or if the gap between the moving and fixed blades remains stable after adjustment. This prevents shaft misalignment, which can cause uneven stress on the bearings during high-speed rotation, leading to damage—a factor contributing to overheating. If this occurs, immediately shut down and reposition the shaft box using the adjusting bolts to extend the bearing's lifespan.
The influence of machining accuracy can also lead to overheating in the fit between the bearing cover and the shaft, as the fit between the bearing and the shaft housing uses basic shaft tolerance fitting. Due to different measurement methods during machining, errors may occur, and when the fit between the shaft and the housing is too tight, the pressure increases, resulting in greater friction between the outer and inner rings of the bearing and the rollers, causing heat generation.
If your equipment encounters these issues, leading to a slowdown or halt in production and is not repairable, you can directly contact the manufacturer for machine replacement to achieve higher crushing efficiency.
