Construction Technique
1. Surface Preparation: The base must be solid before construction, with all contaminants, laitance, and holes or gaps to be repaired, ensuring no potential movement or cracking. The base strength requirement is greater than 20MPa. Specific surface preparation methods: Use a high-speed debris cleaner to scrub cement floors back and forth to clean off laitance; for tile, stone, terrazzo, and abrasive floors, abrade the surface to create at least 80% of a rough texture.
2. Brushing Interlayer Coating: When applying the interlayer, the base surface should have moisture content below 7%. After cleaning, wait for the ground to dry and then use the company's three-component interlayer to uniformly mix and roll the base surface. Simultaneously, evenly sprinkle 40-60 mesh fine sand over the interlayer to create full coverage. Sweep away any loosely adhered sand particles after 6 hours.
3. Install flat water dividers or leave spaces according to the design patterns.
4. Material Mixing and Spreading: Follow the water ratio indicated on the packaging, accurately weigh the water for each bag, mix thoroughly with an electric high-power mixer, and spread evenly from the inside to the outside of the construction area. Use a long trowel to assist in leveling, paying special attention to the edges and the junctions of each material bucket to ensure uniform aggregate particles. When leveling, move the aggregates along with the mixture, not just scraping the surface paste. The construction should be continuous, and the mixed slurry should be used up within 30 minutes.
5. Optimal construction thickness is 10-15mm; immediately roll a professional exhaust roller over the slurry surface to eliminate bubbles.
Cautionary Notes
This product is a thin-layer construction material and cannot withstand basic deformation or cracking of the sub-layer. If there is a risk of cracking or potential cracking on the base surface, please choose with caution.
When spreading materials, pay attention to the even distribution of aggregates to avoid uneven stone exposure.
■ Pay attention to the flatness of the base and the construction thickness to avoid穿透 the bottom during sanding.
When first grinding, it is recommended to start with a high grit abrasive disc, and select the #1 disc based on the actual strength of the floor.
