The slag vertical mill, as the main equipment in the slag production line, integrates conveying, powder grinding, drying, and selection into one unit, operating under a fully enclosed negative pressure system. It also equips monitoring devices at dust collection points such as the vibration sieve frame and feed tower frame. The dust emission concentration of the entire line is around 22mg/m³, significantly lower than the standard of 30mg/m³.

The steel slag powder produced by the Xiangxin Great Wall Grinding System should have a specific surface area of 450-500 m²/kg for optimal performance, at which point it exhibits good activity and ideal energy consumption indicators. Advantages:

Application of steel slag micro-powder

Steel slag has a chemical composition similar to cement clinker and becomes active after certain processing. The finely ground steel slag can be mixed with the required gypsum and admixtures in cement, then processed in a ball mill to produce slag cement. Concrete made with slag cement boasts excellent physical and mechanical properties, such as high later strength, good frost resistance, stability, and more. When the steel slag content in concrete is appropriate, the durability of the concrete can be improved to some extent. Coarse steel slag can also be used as aggregate in concrete. After aging treatment, steel slag can be used to produce bricks, paving bricks, curbs, slope protection bricks, blocks, and other products.

In addition, steel slag features good particle gradation and hardness, with stable performance and high compressive strength, making it suitable as backfill material for road construction projects.
