Turbulent towerThe tray blades, akin to fixed windmill blades, generate rotation and centrifugal motion as the air flow passes through them. The absorbent liquid is evenly distributed to each blade through the central blind plate, forming a thin liquid layer. This layer combines with the upward-moving air flow to create rotational and centrifugal effects, spraying into fine droplets before being thrown against the tower wall. The droplets, under the influence of gravity, collect in the collection troughs and then flow down through the downcomer pipes to the blind plate area of the next tray. The treated gas with specific wind pressure and velocity enters from the bottom of the tower and exits from the top. The absorbent liquid enters from the top and exits from the bottom. The gas flow and absorbent liquid move relative to each other within the tower, forming a large surface area of water film in the structure of the rotating tray, which significantly enhances the absorption process. Each layer of absorbent liquid, after undergoing centrifugal force, falls into the collection troughs at the edges and then enters the next layer of tray via the guiding pipes to perform the absorption process for the next layer.
