As spring planting season approaches, in response to the actual issues of numerous stones in the fields and poor soil conditions, the Party Committee of Hulunbeier Agricultural and Pastoral Development Co., Ltd. has conducted several field investigations. After repeated discussions and selection, the company has introduced two field stone pickers to carry out stone removal operations in the unified fields.

For a long time, larger stones in the company's farmland have impacted the quality of mechanical operations, increased the extent of damage to agricultural machinery, severely hindered the standardization of agricultural machinery operations, and development of agricultural modernization, also resulting in a significant decrease in grain yield.

"This farmland is full of stones, and the stone picker can cover about 5 mu per hour. The stone picking effect is excellent, as it can clean up stones as large as eggs, hard soil lumps, and weeds. The land after the stone picking operation is loose and level, addressing issues like poor soil quality and difficulty in mechanical operations. All the stones picked up are backfilled into the erosion沟, serving the purpose of leveling the land, truly a win-win situation!" said Guo Jianfei, the deputy team leader of the machinery farming team, who was on-site overseeing the operation.

This year, Geni River Agricultural and Pastoral Co., Ltd. plans to manage a total of 70,000 acres of land for corn and soybean cultivation. Starting from early March, all preparations for the spring planting season are progressing smoothly. By introducing stone-picking machines, the company has not only enhanced the efficiency of agricultural machinery but also improved soil fertility, laying a solid foundation for stable and increased grain production.
