On April 15, 2021, a group of over ten individuals including relevant leaders from the District Agricultural and Rural Affairs Bureau, technical personnel for agricultural machinery management, and representatives from agricultural machinery cooperatives, convened a field meeting on stone pickers in Houanling Village, Tanghekou Town.
Tangkoukou Town is nestled in the mountains, where large and numerous stones in the farmland significantly damage agricultural machinery during sowing, field management, and harvesting, hindering normal operations and affecting farmers' planting profits. Field trials with a stone-picking machine have shown its excellent operational stability. After use in mountainous plots, barren fields can be transformed into fertile land, allowing for the cultivation of various crops. This has addressed the bottleneck of modern agricultural machinery operations in our region's mountainous farmlands, filled a gap, and provided a guarantee.
