I. Purpose

Standardized equipment operation and maintenance are aimed at ensuring normal equipment operation, extending its lifespan, reducing maintenance costs, and improving production efficiency.

Operators and maintenance personnel using the company's equipment must operate the equipment in accordance with regulations and proficiently, and supervisors are responsible for ensuring that unauthorized personnel do not approach or tamper with the equipment.

Section 4: Compounding Machine Operating Procedures

1. Power on sequentially. If temperature adjustment is required, set the desired temperature and monitor the heating process. For water-cooled systems, open the in and out water valves to ensure normal water flow.

2. Clean the compounding room, avoiding leaving any hard objects like wires. Check the oil levels and lubrication status of all gears, engine oil, and yellow grease. Pay special attention that the oil level in the three-way oil cup must not be less than half, and regularly monitor the changes in the oil level. Both insufficient oil or rapid oil consumption are abnormal phenomena (adjust the three-way control knob). Change the gear oil for new machines within six months. Add lubricant to the moving parts at least once a week, and do not exceed half of the oil level when refueling; otherwise, leakage may occur.

3. Prepare materials, turn on the power and air pressure, lift the pressure cover to its uppermost position, then start the main motor, and after half a minute of the main motor running, insert the prepared materials. Lower the pressure cover to compact the material.

4. If a color change is required, please pour in cleaning material or raw material cleaner, then use a broom or a wire brush to clean out the old material from the gaps in the rotor shaft inside the intensive mixing chamber.

5. During the compounding process, the density can be adjusted automatically or manually according to the material properties. Over-hard materials should not be used excessively or in large quantities, as this may cause the machine to malfunction or damage the main motor.

After the material is fully compounded, first lift the pressure cover, then turn the compounding trough over, wait until it is in place, pour out the material, then return the compounding trough to its original position, and add more material for the next compounding step.

When halting production, first sequentially turn off the power to each functional unit, then shut down the main unit's power. Quickly clean the kneading room and ensure it is dust-free.

Section 5:注意事项 for the Compounding Machine

Regularly inspect the insulation of all lines and always be attentive to the warnings on the machine warning signs.

Do not insert your hand or an iron rod into the activity area or the kneading chamber when clogged; instead, use a plastic rod to handle it carefully.

Please be cautious when contacting high-temperature areas to avoid burns.

4. In the event of powder leakage or a loud screeching sound from the sealing ring, first evenly loosen the four screw caps and then retighten them slightly. Next, add some material oil or engine oil into the gaps between the rotors in the mixer. While the mixer is running empty for 3-5 minutes, gently tap around the edges of the sealing ring cover on the spring side with a hammer. If powder continues to leak, adjust the tension of individual springs. If the sealing ring cover and the water trough on the side panel of the mixer are very close, it indicates that the internal sealing ring is worn and needs to be replaced. The method for replacing the sealing ring is detailed in the manual.

5. Special Attention: Before starting the machine each day, check the oil levels and lubrication status of all gear oil, engine oil, and yellow grease. It is crucial to maintain daily vigilance that the oil levels in the three-in-one oil cup are not less than half full.

6. In the event of a machine malfunction, immediately stop the machine's operation. Unauthorized personnel are not allowed to make any actions. Notify and wait for your company's maintenance team to inspect and repair.
