I. Concept of Air Freight Bill

Air freight waybills are prepared by the shipper or on behalf of the shipper, serving as a proof of the transportation contract between the shipper and the carrier for the shipment of goods on the carrier's routes.

Air freight waybills are non-transferable and belong to the air carrier to which they are issued, such as the air carrier of Kuayue Express.

Purpose of Air Freight Waybill

A freight bill is a crucial shipping document utilized by shippers or their agents, serving the following purposes:

It serves as a certificate for the conclusion of a transportation contract between the carrier and the shipper.

2. It is a proof of delivery document for the carrier.

3. It is the freight settlement voucher and freight receipt.

4. It serves as the carrier's basis for transporting goods throughout the entire process of organizing the transportation of goods.

5. Proof of customs clearance for imported and exported goods; 5. Insurance certificate.

Section 3: Responsibility for the Issuance of Airway Bills

Shippers are responsible for filling out the air waybill. Shippers are accountable for the accuracy and completeness of the information provided on the air waybill. If inaccuracies or incompleteness in the air waybill result in losses for the carrier or others, the shipper is liable. According to Articles 113 and 114 of the Civil Aviation Law of the People's Republic of China, shippers must fill out three original copies of the air waybill and hand them, along with the goods, to the carrier. Non-compliance with the air waybill regulations or the loss of the air waybill does not affect the existence or validity of the transportation contract.

Section 4: Restrictions on Airway Bills

A single air waybill is applicable to one shipper's shipment of one or more packages at the same time and from the same place by the same carrier to the same destination for the same consignee. No IATA member is allowed to issue negotiable air waybills, and the words "Non-negotiable" on the air waybill must not be deleted or altered.

Section V: Lodging a Dispute at Goods Delivery

1. Notice of visible damage to goods should be made immediately upon discovery, but no later than 14 days after receipt of the goods.

2. Other damage to goods must be reported within 14 days of receiving the goods.

Item 3: Claims for delayed goods must be submitted within 21 days from the date of their free disposal.

4. Claims for undelivered goods must be filed within 120 days from the date of issuance of the freight bill.

The lawsuit must be filed within two years from the date the goods arrive at the destination, or from the date the plane was supposed to arrive, or from the date transportation ceased, otherwise the carrier's right to sue is waived.
