The furniture testing market primarily includes tests for office chairs and desks, sofa testing, mattress testing, and household items testing. Durability testing of office chairs and stools is one of the more important tests for furniture manufacturers, as the appearance and structural safety of office furniture require professional furniture testing equipment for inspection.
One, Test Method for Seat Surface
1. Seat Surface Static Load Test: Apply a certain force vertically downward on the loading point using a loading block and maintain it for at least 10 seconds. Repeat this process 10 times.
2. Seat Surface Fatigue Test: Apply a force of 950N vertically downward repeatedly to the seat surface loading point by inserting a cushion, with a loading rate of no more than 40 times per minute.
3. Seat Impact Test: Place a piece of foam plastic on the seat surface, then position the seat impactor at the specified height, allowing it to fall freely and impact the loaded area a total of 10 times.
Section 2: Test Methods for Seat Backs
1. Seat back static load test: Rest a stop block against the feet of the chair and stool. Then apply the specified balanced load to the seating loading point. Next, exert the specified force along a direction perpendicular to the chair back through the loading pad at the loading point. Maintain for at least 10 seconds each time and repeat 10 times.
2. Backrest Fatigue Test: Rest a stopper against the legs of a chair or stool, then apply a vertical force of 950N at the seat loading point. Next, use the backrest loading block to apply a force of 330N at the backrest loading point as specified. The loading rate should not exceed 40 times per minute.
