Analysis of the Causes for Excessive Motor Temperature

Overload: When an electric motor operates under excessive load for an extended period, the internal heat generated cannot dissipate in time, resulting in the motor overheating.

2. Poor Ventilation: Inadequate air circulation around the motor prevents timely heat dissipation, resulting in excessive motor temperature.

3. High ambient temperature: If the motor operates in an environment with excessive temperatures, it can also lead to the motor overheating.

Solution to Overheating of Electric Motors

Ensure motor surrounding environment: Pay attention to the presence of any objects blocking the motor's heat dissipation, such as mud. Improve the surrounding environment by increasing the surface area for heat dissipation or adjusting the motor's position.

2. Implement heat dissipation: Apply heat-resistant coatings to the motor surface or increase the motor's heat sinks to lower the motor temperature.

3. Enhance Cooling Equipment: Additional cooling devices, such as fans and coolers, can be added near the motor to improve its heat dissipation efficiency.

4. Motor Replacement: If some older motors have an inefficient heat dissipation structure design, consider replacing them with new motors that offer better heat dissipation.

5. Reduce Motor Load: By properly setting motor operating parameters, such as lowering the motor speed and altering the motor load, it is possible to minimize overloading and subsequent poor motor heat dissipation.

Section 3: Cautionary Notes

Regularly maintain the motor by cleaning dust, debris, and other杂物 around it, ensuring good ventilation.

2. For motors operating in high-temperature environments, protective measures are required; such as selecting motors with thermal protection features and choosing appropriate wiring methods.

3. Be mindful of safety concerns and avoid disassembling or inspecting the motor when it's excessively hot. Wait for the motor to cool down before proceeding with any operations.
