The smoke damper door is a crucial equipment for the entry and exit of industrial desulfurization units, and it is divided into flue gas desulfurization (FGD) main smoke dampers (including original flue damper door and clean flue damper door) and bypass smoke dampers.
The working principle and function of the smoke damper door is to regulate the inflow and outflow of smoke through the control of on/off switches.
During desulfurization system operation, the original flue gas and clean flue gas dampers are open, while the bypass damper is closed. When the desulfurization system is undergoing maintenance and shutdown, the original flue gas and clean flue gas dampers are closed, and the bypass damper is opened. In case of a fault, the bypass damper is quickly opened, allowing flue gas to be emitted through the bypass duct, after which the original flue gas and clean flue gas dampers are sequentially closed.
Sometimes, butterfly valves may experience issues such as smoke leakage, sticking, or deformation. This calls for a butterfly valve that can address all these problems.
The electric hydraulic butterfly door features a dual-sealed design with a sealing performance greater than 99%. It is hydraulically driven, offering a thrust of 17 tons and a pull of 13 tons. Its strong push and pull capabilities resolve the issue of sticking. The plate is constructed with a rhombic composite structure, which does not deform under high temperatures.
