3. Be mindful of moisture prevention in power cable insulation.
It is understood that most faults in medium and low-voltage power cables occur at the intermediate joints and terminal heads. These faults are primarily due to poor sealing and moisture intrusion, which lead to a decrease in insulation strength. Since medium and low-voltage power cable networks commonly employ a branching supply method, with a large number of terminal heads, ensuring proper sealing and blocking of the intermediate joints and terminal heads is a crucial measure for guaranteeing the safe and reliable operation of the cables.
