Hoists require regular maintenance to ensure their performance and lifespan. How to properly maintain a hoist, and what are the methods involved?
1. In the case of not using the gourd for a prolonged period, it is recommended to apply rust prevention treatment and perform cleaning and maintenance. Additionally, operate the gourd in both directions for 3 minutes to maintain its performance.
2. The reducer requires lubrication every three months, with lubrication being performed through the sight glass. Use approximately 10 liters of SAE 5.5-7 machine oil. The steel wire rope and drum should be lubricated weekly, applying to the surface.
When using an outdoor electric chain hoist, rain protection devices should be installed.
4. Regularly keep the electric hoist parts dry. After operation, please remove the chain electric hoist from the damp, hot, or chemical areas to maintain its performance.
5. Check the lubrication level of the electric hoist gearbox's oil after 500 hours of operation. Subsequently, perform regular checks every three months. Refill oil if necessary.
During the maintenance of electric hoists, it is particularly important to focus on moisture prevention and lubrication. Proper, timely, and reasonable lubrication of the electric hoist can reduce friction between parts, decrease wear, and extend the product's lifespan. Additionally, attention should be given to moisture and rust prevention.
