An intelligent side-mounted industrial on-line density meter is a device for continuously measuring the concentration and density of liquids, which can be directly used in industrial production processes. The densimeter employs new technologies, including a capacitive differential pressure sensor and a pair of pressure transmitters connected to and inserted into the production process. Between the two pressure transmitters is a temperature sensor, used to compensate for changes in the process liquid's temperature. The on-line density meter is a two-wire density transmitter, mainly used for industrial process control. The on-line density meter generates a corresponding 4-20mA signal based on the concentration and density levels, and can be remotely calibrated and monitored via digital communication.
