Miniature touch switches are an indispensable component in everyday household appliances. However, due to many new users lacking common sense in switch operation, it often leads to a series of faults with the switches. So, how can we avoid faults in miniature touch switches?

Even if switches are not frequently used, they are easily damaged as the contact surfaces of the internal springs can be affected by natural air, leading to oxidation and corrosion reactions. Once the springs are corroded, it can cause poor contact or failure of the switch.

2. When using micro touch switches, please pay attention to the daily waterproof measures. Generally, if the switch is installed in a humid environment, the switch's interface is prone to water and gas intrusion. Once the wiring comes into contact with water and gas, it can cause current leakage. If the human body accidentally comes into contact, it may lead to electrical wiring safety issues.

3. Avoid frequent and excessive touching of the switch buttons. If the cover of the switch button falls off, some internal wiring of the switch will be exposed. Accidental contact may lead to on-site electric shock accidents. Therefore, we should be mindful of this. Additionally, when the switch is not in use, try to avoid pressing the button switch excessively. Each time the switch button is pressed, it wears down to a certain extent.

4. Common issues with micro tactile switches often arise from long-term use, resulting in oxidation and corrosion of the internal springs, which leads to poor contact and switch button failure. To address this problem, it is typically necessary to disassemble the switch, scrape off the oxidized parts of the springs, and inspect the switch. If the springs are severely corroded, we can only recommend replacing the switch.

5. For micro touch switches, there is often a delay in key sensing, which could be due to excessive dust and debris accumulating inside the switch, covering the conductive contact points of the switch terminals and blocking the circuit connection. This leads to the switch's sensing delay. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a safety check on the switch after a period of use. If excessive dust and debris are found, they must be addressed promptly to avoid affecting the switch's performance and usage.
