Post-manufacturing process: Cleaning of stainless steel press-bent elbows
1. Cleaning methods include alkali washing, water-soluble cleaner, chlorine solvent blasting, and shot blasting, based on the workpiece requirements and surface conditions.
The company generally does not use acid pickling for cleaning.
Stainless Steel Bending Head Pressing Correction:
The workpieces are corrected using static loads and generally should not be struck locally.
2. Stress-relieving annealing should be conducted at a temperature below the original tempering temperature after correction.
3. Austenitic stainless steel press-bent elbows are stress-relieved below 300°C after correction.
Quality Inspection of Stainless Steel Pressed Elbows
Inspection of workpieces is conducted according to the items and requirements specified in the relevant technical documents.
2. In the event of substandard mechanical properties of the workpiece, the heat treatment can be repeated, but the number of repeated quenching or solution treatments is generally not more than twice. Additional tempering of the workpiece is not considered a repeated treatment.
3. For martensitic stainless steel press-bent elbows and wear-resistant elbows after quenching or low-temperature tempering, preheating, annealing, or high-temperature tempering should be conducted prior to re-quenching.
