Introducing the 1.25 Terminal Line
What is a terminal line, let's find out first?
Terminal wire, which is a wire material with connectors, and the connectors on the terminal wire are called terminals. In terms of the composition structure of the terminal wire, terminal wire = connector + wire material. Connectors are used in line-to-line, line-to-board, and board-to-board connection plans. When connecting over longer distances by welding to the wire material, we refer to this section of wire material with one or both ends equipped with connectors as terminal wire.
What is the role and value of terminal lines?
Distinguishing from connectors, the terminal wire with terminal ends will be connected in the manner of male and female heads of connectors. Due to varying production requirements, many times the other end remains in wire form. In some productions, the other end is gold-plated and soldered for ease of welding. This situation may arise primarily because the terminal end is not conducive to assembly or is not convenient for setting up connectors. Otherwise, double-ended terminal wires with terminals would be used for connection, such as USB to Type-C, USB-A to USB-C, serial cable to USB, and so on. In summary, the role of the terminal wire is similar to that of a connector, which is to facilitate quick and convenient connection solutions.
Common terminal lines include desktop computer power cables, and terminal lines are also widely used in the security industry. Different lengths of terminal lines are chosen based on the room structure span. The cables used for computer peripherals can be considered as pre-welded terminal lines, such as mice, keyboards, speakers, etc. Double terminal products lines, such as mobile phone charging cables and video lines between computers and monitors, are used more frequently.
