In the die-cutting industry, commonly used die-cut materials include: release materials, adhesive series materials, conductive shielding materials, surface protection series materials, sealing/buffering series materials, insulating flame-retardant materials, waterproof and dustproof series materials, and backlight module series materials. Below, we will introduce these commonly used die-cut materials one by one.

Release materials are generally used in die cutting for insulation, filling, protection, tape release, and product lids, offering the benefit of easy peeling. During use, different release materials with varying release forces, colors, and characteristics should be selected according to different applications and requirements.

Adhesive series materials, early double-sided adhesives originated from animal and plant sources. In the 19th century, rubber was the primary component of adhesives; today, they are widely used in various polymers. Adhesives can bond things together due to the formation of bonds between their molecules and the items to be connected, which securely hold the molecules in place.

Conductive shielding materials are primarily categorized into three main types: conductive adhesives, conductive foams, and conductive fabrics for shielding.

Surface protection materials, commonly referred to as protective films, can be categorized into four main types based on their applications, including digital product protective films, automotive protective films, household protective films, and food preservation protective films.

Sealant/buffering series materials, commonly used include foam, which boasts excellent shielding properties with low pressure, offering a shielding effectiveness over 90dB. It is characterized by its elasticity, lightweight nature, and the ability for rapid pressure-sensitive fixation.

Insulating flame-retardant materials mainly include PC, PVC (such as electrician's tape), PET, ITW-FORMEX materials from the USA (PP), and fire-resistant sheet materials, etc.

Waterproof and dustproof series materials come with mesh and netting, offering the advantages of breathability, dustproofing, thermal insulation, waterproofing, and affordability.

The backlight module, as one of the key components of LCD display panels, provides ample brightness and evenly distributed light sources, ensuring the normal display of images on the screen.
