There are many types of protective films, commonly categorized by material as: PE (polyethylene), PET (polyester film), CPP (polypropylene), PVC (polyvinyl chloride), OPP, and so on.
Our PE protective film comes in a variety of colors, with the most common being transparent, blue, black and white, off-white, and milk white. Additional colors include black, gray, green, yellow, orange, gold, and red. PET film typically comes in transparent, gray, and gold colors. CPP protective film is usually frosted with a hazy effect, while PVC film is commonly transparent, with blue transparent static film being a popular choice. OPP protective film is generally a transparent adhesive film.
There are various types of PE protective films, including PE adhesive film, PE static film, PE embossed film, PE stretch film, and PE packaging film. The viscosity ranges from 5g to 270g, and the thickness from 1.5C to 15C, with 5C being the most commonly used.
Silicone PET, Acrylic Adhesive PET, Matte PET, Triple-Layer PET, Single-Layer PET, Double-Layer PET, and PET release film are common types of PET protective film. Typically used for various screen protectors, PET release film is often employed in die-cutting factories for PET protective film shaping. The most commonly used cutting types are 5C and 7.5C, with 2.5C, 3.8C, 5C, and 7.5C being the standard release films.
Smooth-surface products can opt for electrostatic film, low-adhesion PE plain or embossed film; the rougher the surface, the higher the viscosity of the protective film. For general screen protection, choose PET protective film, various plastic products and panels, glass surface protection with PE film, glossy plastic surfaces can use electrostatic film, matte film, or low-adhesion PE film.
