The powder adhered to the profile surface by the sandblasting machine accounts for about 1/3 of the total powder output from all the nozzles. A considerable amount of powder is scattered within the sandblasting room. To achieve better results, the recycled powder must be mixed with new powder in an appropriate ratio. Therefore, it is essential to promptly recover and reuse the powder.
1. Enclosed nature of the shot blasting room
Powder is susceptible to contamination from airborne particles. After spraying, the surface of the profile is prone to develop fluffy substances or shrinkage holes, which, upon baking, can affect the flatness of the profile's surface. Therefore, the spray room should implement enclosed measures to prevent the intrusion of pollutants.
2. Residual powder in the气管 should be promptly cleaned, as prolonged disuse can lead to clumping, which may cause spilling of the powder and affect the spraying outcome.
3. Backup Powder Drum
The sandblasting machine is for use during powder replacement, effectively enhancing labor efficiency. Dust and moisture protection, as well as maintenance of the spare powder bucket, must be properly conducted to ensure the quality of the remaining powder inside.
Additionally, the process of adding backfill should also be given due attention.
Even though all technical parameters have been adjusted before production commences, continuous monitoring of the workpieces is essential through the powdering window to ensure that any areas with shallow powder coverage or unabsorbed powder are promptly refilled. Due to the higher powder output of the manual abrading gun compared to the automatic gun, the speed of hand movement can be slightly increased for the manual abrading gun.
