When using connectors, proper usage and storage are essential to avoid unnecessary trouble.
Upon receiving the connectors, we must carefully inspect the outer packaging for any obvious signs of damage and also check for any potential damage to the connectors themselves. It is crucial to ensure that the connectors we see are in perfect condition to avoid affecting our use of the connectors.
When not in use, do not randomly place the connectors, especially not in sunny areas. If forgotten and left in the sun for extended periods, the connectors may suffer quality damage due to prolonged exposure. This could affect their performance and even lead to safety hazards. Therefore, remember where to store the connectors properly and avoid causing safety incidents due to carelessness.
In high-temperature areas, connectors should not be placed. Continuous high temperatures or high humidity can damage the connectors, especially in environments with chemicals, where they can be corroded. This leads to the outer metal protective layer losing its protective function, causing internal wiring damage. Without normal conductivity, they become waste.
When relocating a connector, do not rush. Be cautious and avoid the connector from contacting hard objects to prevent damage. Moreover, do not place it beneath heavy items to avoid crushing the connector.
Connectors have another nemesis: greasy substances. If they come into contact with greasy items during storage or use, the connectors will lose their original functionality, becoming a hindrance to our work.
