My take is that hand sanitizer is akin to a disposable bar of soap. A regular bar of soap is cheaper than a bottle of hand sanitizer in terms of cost. However, as people place more emphasis on hygiene, they often find it uncomfortable to use a soap that has been touched by others. Hand sanitizer effectively addresses this issue. Each pump of a "new" or "unused" hand sanitizer is disposable, looking cleaner and more appealing than a bar of soap that can appear unattractive when it's nearly used up.
And now, there are various tricks with hand sanitizers, adding fun to hand washing. For instance, floral-scented sanitizers make it easier for kids and babies to enjoy hand washing and develop good hygiene habits.
Due to the recent popularity of disposable hand sanitizers, simply squeeze and rub them in your hands for easy use on the go.
In my personal opinion, there's really no significant difference between hand sanitizers and soaps; they're just more convenient in different situations. The design of products and items in society is becoming increasingly segmented, and some of them do indeed bring convenience and joy to our lives.
