Key Points for Using Rivet Screws

A standard-sized fixture hole is provided for each rivet screw.

2. Ensure that the bottom of the rivet bolt (or guide slot) is within the installation hole prior to applying the device force.

Apply clamping forces between parallel surfaces. Prevent changes during the use and assembly of fasteners.

Apply sufficient fixture force to fully embed the retaining ring around its entire circumference, ensuring the boss makes perfect contact with the plate.

Important Considerations When Using Pressed Bolts

Do not install rigid or stainless steel fasteners before anodizing or surface treatment of aluminum sheets.

Do not remove burrs around the fastening screw before assembling the device---removing burrs will consume the metal intended to securely fasten the fixture to the board.

Do not position the Z short edge spacing closer to the device rivets.

4. Avoid over-compression, as it can flatten the head, deform the threads, and bend the sheet material. Prior to mass production, the adequate clamping force should be confirmed through experimentation.

Do not attempt to install fasteners with a hammer. A hammer will not allow the sheet material to move smoothly and lock into the contour of the rivets.

Do not install screws from the head of the rivet bolt. Install them from the opposite side of the rivet bolt head, ensuring the force of the rivet bolt is directed towards the panel.

Do not install rivet screws on the pre-coated board assembly.
