Plastic Material
Polycarbonate (PC)The product boasts excellent mechanical properties, good cold and high-temperature resistance, high precision, and good light transmission (up to 85%-90%). However, it has poor fluidity and requires high mold standards. It is commonly used for high-end car headlight housings and some indoor lighting fixtures.
PBTSimilar to PC, most PBT requires fiber filling, is opaque, and has good flowability.
PA (Nylon)PA66 offers excellent mechanical properties and excellent flowability, but is prone to water absorption, resulting in poor dimensional accuracy and significant shrinkage.
ABSHigh impact resistance; does not crack under pressure, but becomes more brittle after flexibility is reduced. Often used in standard indoor lighting fixtures.
PVCThe material is relatively light, low in density, and has good elasticity, but it is highly absorbent, prone to yellowing, and easily breaks. It is also used in lampshades, but it is of lower quality; it may turn yellow after 1 to 2 years.
Metallic Material
Aluminum MaterialsIts superior corrosion resistance, resistance to deformation, and high plasticity make it commonly used as a heat sink for LED street lights.
Iron materialsMetal materials will be harder and have a metallic luster, but they are prone to rust and have poor water absorption.
Copper MaterialsExcellent resistance to rust and corrosion, but the color lacks youthfulness and the style leans towards a luxurious and understated vibe.
Other materials
GlassNew styles, natural colors that last, commonly used in certain artistic lighting fixtures.
Ling Jing BoardThe new type of acrylic material, primarily made of resin, features an anti-glare structure in its light-emitting design.
