Features of Power Adapters:
Low power consumption and high efficiency. In the circuit of a switching power supply adapter, the switching MOSFET operates alternately in a conductive-cutoff and cutoff-conductive switch state under the stimulation of the driving signal, with a rapid switching speed, typically above 50kHz, and can reach several hundred or nearly gigahertz in some excellent switching power supply circuits. This results in a very low power consumption for the switching MOSFET and significantly enhances the efficiency of the power supply.
Compact and lightweight. The switching power supply adapter does not use a bulky line-frequency transformer. Due to the significant reduction in power dissipation on the switching MOSFETs, larger heat sinks are also eliminated. For these two reasons, the switching power supply adapter is compact and lightweight.
The switching power supply adapter features a wide voltage regulation range. The output voltage is adjusted by the duty cycle of the激励 signal, and variations in the input signal voltage can be compensated through frequency or width adjustments. Consequently, it can maintain a relatively stable output voltage even when there are significant fluctuations in the industrial frequency grid voltage. Therefore, the switching power supply adapter offers a broad voltage regulation range with excellent stabilization performance.
