Performance Advantages and Usage Precautions of Palletizing Robots

Stacking robots, as an indispensable member of the enterprise assembly line, excel in many process operations. What performance advantages do stacking robots have compared to other auxiliary machinery?

1. Palletizing robots feature a simple structure with minimal components, resulting in low failure rates for parts, reliable performance, straightforward maintenance, and a reduced need for inventory of spare parts.

2. Less land area required, which is beneficial for arranging production lines in customer's factory and allows for larger storage space. Palletizing robotic arms can be set up in narrow spaces, enabling efficient use.

All controls can be operated on the control cabinet screen, making the operation extremely simple.

4. Simply locate the starting and placement points; the instructional method is easy to understand.

Palletizing robots, as substitutes for palletizing workers, offer low costs and high efficiency, meeting the needs of enterprises for the palletizing position. However, as intelligent machinery, attention is required during their daily use.

To enhance the accuracy of the stacking operation, proper TCP (Tool Center Point) setup is required.

(2) Pallet storage, avoid using pallets with the same identification number simultaneously.

(3) The Palletizing Function operates effectively within a program when the three commands—Palletizing Command, Palletizing Action Command, and Palletizing End Command—are all present. Note that even if only one command is copied to a subroutine for demonstration, this function will not operate correctly.

(4) Pallet numbering is automatically written along with the pallet instruction, action instruction, and end instruction after the teaching of the pallet data. There is no need to worry about the reuse of the pallet number in other programs (each program has the data for the pallet number).

(5) Do not set "C" (circular motion) as the action type in the stacking operation instructions.
