I. Select Channels

Don't be swayed by low prices when purchasing power outlets. Buy from authorized large chain supermarkets, department stores, or electrical appliance stores, and keep your purchase receipts.

Two, appearance

The style and color of switches should match the overall interior style. For instance, if the overall color scheme of a living room is light, it's not advisable to choose switches in dark colors like black or brown. Moreover, the packaging of qualified outlets should contain complete manufacturer and product information. Some substandard outlets, however, have poor packaging and lack basic information about the manufacturer and product, especially the production date on the product packaging. Many low-quality outlet products do not indicate the production date, which often indicates they are substandard. Additionally, the exterior panels of qualified outlets are finely crafted, with no burrs on the shell or socket edges, and the socket sizes are symmetrical and uniform. Poorly made outlets have rougher exterior craftsmanship.

Feel the texture

Identify by weighing, pressing the switch repeatedly, testing the insertion force, and pulling the power cord from four aspects.

1. Weigh it: Standard-compliant sockets use more copper wire and thicker copper plates internally, and the plastic shell is tightly sealed, making them heavier. In contrast, substandard sockets, which cut corners, will feel significantly lighter.

2. Repeatedly press the switch: A qualified socket should open and close smoothly with a crisp sound after several attempts; an unqualified socket will feel stiff and may jam easily.

3. Test Insertion and Removal Force: Qualified sockets have a moderate and elastic feel for each slot, with consistent insertion and removal force across all holes. Unqualified sockets exhibit either too loose or too tight insertion force, poor elasticity, and are prone to loosening. There is also a noticeable difference in feel between each slot.

4. Power Cord Quality: Certified power cords have a medium-soft texture and are securely connected to the outlet, providing a reliable connection. Conversely, non-compliant power cords feel overly soft and are loosely connected to the outlet, making them prone to detachment.

Four: Brand Watch

Recommend using reputable brands. The quality of switches is crucial for the proper functioning of electrical appliances, even for the convenience of daily life. Many dealers interviewed expressed the same view, that switches or power outlets produced by many small manufacturers are highly unreliable and do not last long, making frequent replacements a real hassle.

Five: A Glimpse into Our Services

Buy from authorized dealers or sales outlets of reputable manufacturers as much as possible to ensure you can enjoy after-sales service in the future.

Section 6: Look for the Logo

Be mindful of the markings on the bases of switches and outlets: including the Great Wall Certification (CCEE) and rated current/voltage.
