The touch switch boasts advantages such as low contact resistance, minimal operation force error, and diverse specifications, finding widespread applications in electronic equipment and white goods, including audio-visual products, digital products, remote controls, communication devices, household appliances, security products, toys, computer products, fitness equipment, money counters, laser pointers, and more.
Switch Manufacturer Teaches You How to Test the Performance of Touch Switches: Mainly test the solderability, cold resistance, temperature resistance, and moisture resistance of touch switches.
One: Weldability Test
Weldability Test
The method involves dipping the焊接脚 into the solder pot to a depth of approximately 2mm, with a testing temperature of about 230±5°C, and a holding time of 3±0.5 seconds.
Result: Over 80% of the soldered leads will be covered with solder.
2. Weldability Test
Process: Welding furnace solder temperature is maintained at 260±5°C, with through-process welding held for 5±1 seconds on (substrate).
During hand welding, the temperature is controlled at 350±30°C, for a duration of 3±0.5 seconds, without applying abnormal pressure to the welding leg.
Results: Switches show no deformation, meeting electrical performance requirements. This result is invalidated for the application of abnormal pressure.
Section 2: Cold Resistance Test
The method: Place in a temperature environment of -20±3℃ for 4 days, then return to normal conditions, and conduct the test after 30 minutes.
Results: Contact resistance and insulation resistance are both within the standard range, with no signs of switch performance damage.
High-Temperature Resistance Test:
Method: Remove the product after 2-3 minutes of storage at a temperature of 280±30°C, and then test its texture and resistance after it has cooled down.
Results: Resistance, resilience, and appearance; all show no signs of damage. The switch's performance remains undiminished and as good as new.
Section 4: Moisture Resistance Test
Method: The product is exposed to a 40±2℃ environment with 90-95% RH for 4 days, then placed in a normal environment, and tested after 30 minutes.
Results: Contact resistance and insulation resistance are both within the standard range, with no signs of switch performance damage.
5. Temperature Cycling Test
After undergoing five cycles in various temperature environments, the product is then tested 30 minutes after being placed back in normal conditions.
