As the industry grows, competition among peers intensifies, leading to a proliferation of issues in the market for packaging foam products. Most non-specialists find it difficult to differentiate between the quality of foam products. So, how can we accurately determine the quality of foam products when purchasing them?
Direct to Appearance: A well-packaged foam product maintains a symmetrical front-to-back ratio, offering a visual experience of structural beauty. Generally speaking, among the foams commonly encountered, aside from special irregular and large-hole foams, the smaller the surface of the foam and the smaller the pores, the better it is typically considered to be.
Hand Feel and Softness: High-quality sponge materials provide a quick rebound upon pressing and are preferable for their fluffiness. Good sponges have excellent elasticity, effectively absorbing shock and abrasion. If the sponge feels unusually stiff, it indicates a low-quality product, which is not conducive to protecting the item.
Three, Stretchibility: High-quality foam typically has a higher stretch-to-elongation ratio. If it does not meet this standard, it may indicate average foam quality, which is not conducive to good ventilation during daily use and storage of items for long-distance transportation.
Four: Odor Identification Method: Generally speaking, high-quality sponges do not have a distinctive unpleasant odor. An unpleasant smell indicates that it is made of inferior materials.
Fifth, Tear Resistance Comparison Method: High-quality foam has good elasticity, is clean, and odorless. When it is tightly held in hand and released, the more significant the rebound, the better. In contrast, low-cost foam is dull in color, has a strong odor, and is easy to tear off. If the foam does not easily tear off when pulled back and forth, it can indicate decent quality.
