A single-core串联constant-power electric heat tracing system is a new type of electric heat tracing product. Compared to other heat tracing tapes, its features include a longer usable length, which is typically 6 to 12 times the common self-limiting and constant-power heat tracing tapes. It is suitable for long-distance pipelines in the oil, chemical, power, and port industries, large tank pools, and oil tanks for frost prevention, insulation, and heat tracing. When combined with other explosion-proof accessories, it can be used in Class II explosion-proof gas environments.
Operating Principle
According to Joule's Law, when an electric current passes through a conductor, it continuously releases energy, forming a continuous, uniformly heated electric tracing band.
The insulation sheath and outer insulation sheath of the single-core series constant power electric heating tape are both F46 or F4. The heating core is a special heating material. The reinforced copper braid shielding layer (optional braiding material: "alloy wire" and "tin-plated copper wire," differing materials result in different prices) and inner insulation sheath heating core.
