Outdoors, environmental factors, air humidity, and weather are major influences on display screens. When installing outdoor displays, we must pay special attention to their wind resistance, seismic resistance, and load-bearing capabilities to ensure they thrive and operate effectively in the outdoor environment. Beyond the initial preparation, the daily maintenance of the display screen is equally crucial. Specific maintenance precautions include:
Internal water entry is strictly prohibited for the display screen. Flammable materials and metals that are easy to conduct electricity must not be inserted into the screen body to avoid equipment short-circuiting and fire. In case the display screen gets wet, immediately disconnect the power and contact a repair technician. The screen can only be used again once the display board inside is completely dry.
2. The sequence of switching for LED screens:
Power On: First, power on the control computer to ensure it operates properly before turning on the LED display. Power Off: First, turn off the LED display, then shut down the computer.
Power supply is stable, with good grounding protection.
In the event of severe thunderstorms, typhoons, or other hazardous weather conditions, it is essential to promptly disconnect the power supply. Reconnect the power to the display screens only after the weather has returned to normal.
5. The surface of the LED display should not be cleaned with a damp cloth directly. Alcohol can be used for wiping, or a brush and vacuum cleaner can be used for dust removal.
6. During the plum rain season, use the LED screen at least once a week. Generally, turn on the screen for at least one time per month, with a duration of over 2 hours.
7. Regularly inspect the stability of the LED display support structure and the safety of the power cables; promptly address any damage.
Do not arbitrarily forcibly disconnect, nor frequently turn on and off the power supply to the display screen to prevent the impact of surge currents. Avoid excessive current, overheating of power lines, damage to LED cores, and affect the lifespan of the display screen. Do not arbitrarily disassemble or reassemble the screen body!
9. LED display main control computers and related equipment should be placed in air-conditioned, dust-free rooms to ensure proper ventilation, heat dissipation, and stable operation of the computers.
10. Internal wiring of LED outdoor displays requires professional maintenance.
Before the onset of summer each year, it is essential to pre-inspect the cooling and heat dissipation equipment within the display screens, such as air conditioners and fans, to ensure the screens operate within permissible temperature conditions.
