The semi-automatic packaging machine is a commonly used packaging equipment among many businesses due to its simplicity of operation, affordability, and ease of daily use and maintenance. So, what should we do when a semi-automatic packaging machine encounters a fault?
In the event of a malfunction in our semi-automatic packaging machine that prevents the conveyor belt from feeding, our repair method is:
Length-controlled potentiometer with zero position sent
The length control potentiometer for the conveyor belt is located at the second position from the left on the front panel switch plate. Turning clockwise increases the belt length, while turning counterclockwise decreases it; if it's at the zero position, the belt will not be dispensed.
Improper attire.
Open the right door and properly fasten the equipment according to the "Process of Fastening" or the fastening diagram indicated in the manual.
3. There is an object inside the intercom.
Long-term use of the packing machine, coupled with delayed cleaning and maintenance, has led to the accumulation of debris inside, causing the conveyor belt to operate inefficiently. Increased cleaning and maintenance are recommended.
4. Incorrect gap on roller spacing.
The gap size between the conveying rollers on a semi-automatic packing machine is crucial for normal conveying. Adjust the gap according to the instructions provided in the manual. Carefully tune it until the gap between the conveying rollers is only 0.05~1mm thicker than the belt thickness.
5. The chosen belts are too thick or too thin.
Due to the varying thickness of packaging tape produced by numerous manufacturers, it is essential to select the appropriate type as required. If this is not possible, please carefully adjust the gap between the take-up and delivery roller according to the instructions provided.
6. The electromagnet is not functioning properly.
The electromagnet is not functioning. First, check if the welding joints of the electromagnet's wires have come loose, then inspect if the coil is burnt. If neither shows any issues, you should check if the electromagnet has moved out of place or if it's blocked by debris, preventing the bullet head from moving freely.
