Introducing Montmorillonite Desiccant:
Montmorillonite Desiccant (Al2O3·4SiO2·nH2O): Made from pure natural montmorillonite, which is extracted from natural montmorillonite mines and then subjected to high-temperature heating, organic carbonization, swelling of the montmorillonite mass, steam treatment, drying, activation, crushing, and sieving. It contains no additives or solubles, making it a non-corrosive, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly green product with excellent compatibility; it can be disposed of as general waste. It maintains stable moisture absorption performance under various temperature conditions and is non-corrosive when in direct contact with metal.
2. Montmorillonite Desiccant Knowledge:
Montmorillonite is a mineral composed of hydrated aluminum silicate particles, usually found in blocky or earthy formations. Under an electron microscope, its crystalline sheets can be observed, with colors ranging from white to light gray, to pale blue or pale red. When the temperature reaches 100-200°C, the water molecules within the montmorillonite will gradually evaporate.
After losing water, montmorillonite can still absorb water molecules or other polar molecules. Once it absorbs water, it can swell and expand several times its original volume. Montmorillonite has a wide range of applications, and its properties are utilized in chemical reactions to produce adsorption and purification effects.
